There is innovators everywhere. Not just in the tech sector… A very special innovator I just came across was Sally Schmitt, one of the first to professionally prepare California food.
Sally and her husband founded and built the restaurant “The French Laundry” in Yountville, Nappa Valley. At a time when this town was far from famous. What I find fascinating, is the balance of personal happiness, cooking = the job. See and hear all about her life and mindset in this short film by Ben Proudfoot.
